Day 17 – Pontoise – Furia Sound Festival – The Green Fields Of France
I have to start out this entry with an apology to my “cousin” Alix. She called once and said she was coming to the show but I was unable to reach her so we didn't see each other. That sucked! So Alix, if you're reading this, I'm sorry. Please email or call me again so I can get back to you!
The downside of doing European summer festivals is that they're spread out all overthe place, which usually means long drives. We arrived in La Pontoise, France, ten hours after departing from Amsterdam!
If you've ever heard the phrase, “The green fields of France”, it's no exaggeration! France is chocked full of green fields! Very beautiful!!!
La Pontoise, is fairly close to Paris, but sadly we arrived way too late in the day to get anywhere near Paris. With the Paris option off the table I spent most of my time before our set catching up on this diary.
If long drives are the downside of European festivals, the upside is how well festival promoters treat artists! Today the food was in abundance and excellent!
Free massages were provided for everyone working at the festival! Needless to say I indulged willingly. Jesse “Payz T” Jones, part took in the message services TWICE! (WORD!)
Limber and excited to play to a large French audience we hit the stage! Our set went very well! The kids were AWESOME! I can't wait to play in Paris!!! Thanks
Furia Sound Festival!
